Terms and Conditions for the Participants

1. You (the participant) are not authorised to:
   • Copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the course materials.
   • Record on video or audio tape, or electronically in any media or by any other means whatsoever.
   • Use the course materials in the provision of any other course or training
   • Modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, etc. any software forming part of the online courses.
2. While registering with CER, you will need to provide accurate, current and complete information such as personal and professional details, contact details, e-mail address, etc.
3. You should maintain the security of your password and identification and be fully responsible for all use of your account and for any action that take place using your account. You shall notify CER, in case of any unauthorized use of your password and identification.
4. Transfer of the account to any other person is not allowed. Do not share your log-in credentials with anybody. Any misuse will disqualify the participant and no fee will be refunded.
5. To enable us to monitor, we gather certain information about you, including details of the operating system, browser version, domain name and IP address. Every participant can use maximum two devices for accessing the course content and the password must be changed every second week. If you wish to use more than two devices, you must seek permission from CER providing full details of the third device (MAC address).
6. The Course is facilitated through CER’s Online Learning Environment and Tools. It is your responsibility to have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to high-speed internet, to be able to participate in the course.
7. The course description provides a broad outline of the overall content of the program. CER, IITK may modify/ delete any content, in part or full, in-line with the evolving nature of the subject matter and the discretion of the instructor.
8. You will have to ensure to keep pace with the program schedule including requirements for assignments, discussions and examinations. It is recommended that you plan in advance to allocate sufficient time to successfully complete the course.
9. On completion of the course, you will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Participation’. On successfully passing the examination conducted on CER’s online examination portal, you will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence’.
10. In the case of any Force Majeure conditions, CER shall not be liable for any delay or failure of its obligations or termination under these terms and conditions arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes and other acts of God.
