    The Certification Program on Renewable Energy Regulation focuses on regulatory and policy framework for renewable energy development. Building on economic foundations, the program would enable a better understanding of evolving regulatory and policy framework for Renewable Energy (RE). The Program would be conducted under the aegis of Office of Outreach Activities, IIT Kanpur.

    Mode of delivery:

    The program will be delivered in online mode in the form of live and recorded sessions to offer flexibility to the working professionals. The recorded sessions would be hosted at CER’s Online Learning Environment and Tools (OLET) platform. The program will be covered across 2 weeks and include multiple sessions of about 1 hour 30 min each (with total program duration of more than 25 hours).

    Officials of Renewable Energy Development Agencies, Renewable Generation Companies, Open Access Consumers, Project Developers along with stakeholders across the power sector, including Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Companies, Traders and Power Exchanges, Electricity Regulatory Commissions (including members), Investors, Financial Institutions and Banks, NGOs, Consultants, Lawyers, CAs/CS, Academicians, Researchers, and Students.

  • Award of Certificate
    Participants would be awarded one of the following certificates as per the criteria mentioned:

    Note:

    • 1. Per session participation/ attendance will be counted only if minimum view duration/ attendance exceeds 80% of duration of the session.
      2. No certificate will be awarded, if the above criteria for minimum attendance is not met or the  performance in the assessment and participation is below the minimum certification criteria for the program
      3. If any candidate fails to appear in the Assessment, no certificate will be awarded

    Notes:-
    - For each registration only one discount will be applicable.

    - Fees once paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

    - Participants must register under the correct category (Student/Professional).

    - Misuse of categories (e.g., registering as a student without eligibility) will result in cancellation of registration without refund.

    - Student-category applicants must upload - A valid Student ID, a current-year Bonafide.

    - Certificate issued by a recognized educational institution.

    ^ Three or more participants from the same organisation will get 20% discount on registration fee. For group registration for 10 or more participants, please contact us. Female candidates would receive a further discount of 10%. Cannot be clubbed with any other discount.
