Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, IIT Kanpur has been engaged in teaching, research, capacity building, policy advocacy and consulting activities on various aspects of power sector reforms and regulations. In continuance of these endeavours, the Department set up Centre for Energy Regulation (CER) to enhance regulatory research, knowledge building and networking in the Indian power sector. The Centre is seed funded by Government of United Kingdom, through a programme titled ‘Supporting Structural Reforms in the Indian Power Sector’ under Power Sector Reforms (PSR) programme.
Centre for Energy Regulation (CER) and Florence School of Regulation (FSR), Florence, Italy are organising a Symposium on “Future of Utilities: International and Indian Perspectives” on 10th and 11th October, 2018.
The symposium will provide an opportunity for regulators, policy makers, professionals, researchers and academicians to benefit from deliberations and discussions.
Key topics for discussion are:
